HP EliteBook Revolve 810 G2 battery not charging issue
Very easy way to fix your HP EliteBook Revolve 810 G2 problems with battery not charging. Generic battery is the answer!
Bought recently a HP EliteBook Revolve 810 G2 as fot parts or not working and issue was that laptop was not charging battery... very simple right! Laptop came with two brand new HP batteries and 2 chargers, previous owner said that he thinks that there's a issue with charging port since 2 brand new batteries are not charging and he used 2 different HP chargers which were brand new also.
First thing i checked was charging port and it was absolutely perfect, then i went trough several chargers witch i owned and still no luck, so i spend some time on google reading various issues with these laptops and charging issues with them and finally i found article about that.
Turns out HP had issues with their Elitebook batteries and they were recalled but good few sellers on eBay and also Amazon were selling these batteries(still selling them) as brand new and unused witch they were but they must got them for real cheap because recall.
How to fix HP EliteBook 810 G2 battery not charging issue:
After reading all that my only option was to buy generic battery for that model, i purchased from Amazon.
And problem was solved, laptop was charging and working from battery without any issues.
Im not saying that you should not buy original battery for Your EliteBook but just be awere where you buying it.
I hope someone with similar problem ends here and finds some help.

A friend's 810 G2 stopped charging. Computer doesn't recognize that the charger is plugged in. I tried a couple of different chargers. How did you check the DC Jack that it was fine and it was the battery that was bad? If it is the DC Jack, do you know of a video that shows how to dissemble the computer? Thank you
