Upgrading is actually very simple and should not take you more than 10 minutes in total!
How to open HP Elitebook 840 G3
- You will need standard Phillips screwdriver
- Remove all the screws on the back panel
- One hidden screw under SD card blank
- Use something sharp but plastic to lift pack cover
Once pack panel is removed you can go ahead and upgrade your HP EliteBook 840 G3 RAM. See image below of the RAM slots:
Just remove ram sticks what are fitted to it and install new DDR4 ram. See image below of the new ram installed to this HPO EliteBook 840 G3!
