Dell Latitude 5310 SSD and RAM upgrade

Good news here is that this Dell Latitude can be upgraded in terms of both RAM and SSD, as we know many of newer laptops do not provide this option. All this means is that You will be able to use your laptop for many additional years and that is always a good thing.

For people who are not able to perform these upgrades themselves will be even worth to bring your Dell Latitude 5310 to local repair shop and they will do all the dirty work for you, still beats buying new laptop every few years. 

As for price of this little upgrade, if you decide to install 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD as i did on this upgrade then you can consider roughly with $150 dollars, not that bad.. new machine will cost you about $1000 so obviously this is no-brainer.

How to open Dell Latitude laptop?

To open Dell Latitude 5310 you will need very standard phillips screwdriver, im sure everyone has one of these in their household. 

Loosen all the screws on the back panel, they don’t come fully out and that’s a good thing because You will have less chance to lose them.

Dell Latitude memory and solid state drive upgrade

Will be upgrading this laptops RAM to 32GB and SSD to 1TB NVMe.

Windows operating system needs to be re-installed after upgrading SSD, if you upgrading just RAM then there’s no need re-install Windows.
