This Asus Zenbook is definitely one of the the fastest i ever used, very portable and really well designed, solid device.

This Asus Zenbook is definitely one of the the fastest i ever used, very portable and really well designed. There's nothing cheap about these laptops.. including initial release price of (starting at $1,099, $1,499 as configured), its pretty pricey but it defiantly worth it. Most part its aluminum built and despite to looks it is actually very solid, of cource backlit keyboard will have to be mentioned since it makes huge difference when you are using laptop in dark. Battery life is pretty good, this is used laptop now for about 3-4 years and still will get about 2 hours out of so i can imagine when it was new you could expect not less then 4 hours.

As for upgrading there's not much you can do since memory(RAM) is soldered to the motherboard and there's no way of changing so you are stuck with what it came.. my case its 4GB of RAM also processor(CPU) is soldered, only real hardware upgrade you can do is upgrading SSD but this laptop has 256GB SSD so plenty of room. See video below of the boot speed of this Asus Zenbbok.
